Exterior marking on bottle bottom

Hello,I do not understand this recurring problem on a Carbonne with PLA MATTE… When I print a hollow object, the height of the top of the bottom is marked on the outside… how to solve this problem? On this model, I even have an offset…

Thank you for your light…

It looks like there is a boundary caused by filament shrinkage. This is caused by the larger mass of a more denser material shrinking at a higher rate than the materials around it during cooling.

Three possible things you might try:

  1. Increasing wall thickness by increasing wall loops.
  2. Decreasing the base infill or perhaps decreasing the first layer thickness.
  3. Changing the temperature of the initial layer in the filament settings to some other value than the defaults.

A decently sized fillet on the inside corner also seem to help as most often it will create an area of infill between the inner and outer walls. This decouples the shrinking inner top layer from the outer wall.

Ok, thanks for taking the time to answer me… I will carry out tests with your suggestions and I will get back to you…

Good evening,

I tried to mount the wall loop at 3, it’s better but not great…I then tried to round the lower corner by 3mm, and there it’s great!.. it will probably not be the solution for each part to be printed, but I’m already happy with this result…for this part…
