This is what I am experiencing. Trying to find anyone that is having this same issue…
You’re experiencing poor bed adhesion. How are you cleaning your G10 plate?
I can see why you may think this is about adhesion, but its actually the extruder head itself. Its unable to pull the filament and is stuck causing this loud clicking noise.
The G10 has nothing to do with this issue, I can use the textured PEI or any other plate. I also used the G10 many times to print, this is a completely separate issue. But to answer your question, I use 99% rubbing alcohol before every print and it always works flawlessly.
Here I am having to push the filament with my hand for it to actual extrude. Somethig in the gear assembly is not behaving as it should.
What filament are you using and what temperature is the nozzle at?
Can you dry the filament ? i found the head makes a noise like that when it has an issue extruding
Using BambuLab PETG Basic. I believe 240 or 250 C around that range when this was printing. Been using this same filament and settings since I got the machine.
I have tried a brand new PETG roll that was bone dry and it made no difference at all. It’s like the gears have stripped and can no longer pull the filament from the AMS. What’s odd is I barely have 100 hours worth of printing in this thing. Everything was flawless until this happened.
It’s quite possible you have a clogged nozzle. Here is the wiki for the A1 Mini for dealing with a clogged nozzle. It is very similar to your A1.
Same here after updating the firmware…
When you watch the video it springs back because the filament cant / wont extrude i found this out using tpu , i dried it , it was fine
Unfortunately changing the nozzle doesn’t do anything. The problem is above the nozzle, the gears or whatever mechanism that pulls the filament. Has hosed. And this coincided with me updating the Bambu software.
I have tried this on a 0.4 and 0.6 nozzles. No difference whatsoever. I can print small slow parts, but anything where the toolhead spans a large distance, I get this awful clicking.
What you’re describing sounds like your nozzle temperature isn’t high enough. The clicking sound is the extruder skipping steps because it can’t push the filament out of the nozzle. Make sure the nozzle is at the correct temperature and double check that the correct filament is selected when you sliced the file.
I´m trying with a flow calibration and I can advance you that there´s nothing clogged inside the extrusor…
I think that´s something with the new firmware
Is there any way to rollback? I don’t know how a printer can print perfectly, literally everything I throw at it… for months and then all of a sudden it can no longer push filament through the nozzle. Pretty mind boggling.
Thinking in make a reset…
Yes, you should be able to roll back the firmware via the Handy app.
The only files that is printing well are the ones included with the printer… so I´m quite convinced that´s something referred to the update - try if yours is making the same
I have printed TPU82A and some local PETG following the firmware upgrade with no issues at all. Are the gears that grip the filament not clogged up with old filament?
absolutely nothing clogged nowhere
I am at a loss do not know what is causing the ptoblem, hopefully someone comes up with a fix for you.
