I have an h2d with ams 2 and ht and bambu support has been horrible so this is my last chance to save this printer because I’m losing hope. When ever I go to use any ams if I feed into the left nozzle the extruder gear spins clockwise (spits the filament out) which makes it impossible to feed the filament. The same goes for the right side so I pretty much has lost the ability to use any ams with my printer. I can however load filament manually with 0 problems at all the gear spins the correct way when I manually tell it. Ive changed softwares, factory reset, Bambu support sent me a buffer even though I specifically told them it wasnt this. The machine constant spits random errors to try an justify itself. It’ll say the buffer is stuck then the extruder is stuck then the filament is stuck etc etc when none of them are true. Both sides did a cold pull and was mint. I’m on my last nerve with this machine. Someone please save me. (machine has been unopened)
it’s either your buffer is stuck or your filament path is creating too much friction.
I have the same issue. I’ve read somewhere else that this problem has increased dramatically with the last firmware update of printer and AMS. It is honestly really frustrating for me as well and it has brought me to the point where I am considering writing completely custom filament switch g-code.
