P1S. Disassembled extruder to remove a stuck piece of filament. Reassembled per instructions. Now the printer refuses to load filament. When I perform a load, the printer never gets pas “Load filament RETRY”.
The extruder gear turns easily by hand. However, a lot force is needed to load filament when I operate the gear by hand. Please see video (Google Photos link)
A lot of force is good, but if you think it’s too much you can back off the set screw for the horizontal spring on the right side. (I have mine flush, but I don’t think there’s any guidance on the precise tension.)
You can test it to see if it’s working by feeding the fillament up and down without the hotend assembly. (Remove the nozzle and heatsink.)
As a little back-and-forth with bambu support, we identified the issue as a misaligned sensor connector. See attached photos.
