Using Elegoo pink PLA. Printing the same model I’ve printed several times now without issue in other colors. PETG in the right, pla in the left. Prints stopped in different layer heights. Nozzle isn’t clogged, it seems the finance is jammed internally somehow as it cannot be removed by pulling it out. I have to disassemble the whole thing to remove the filament. Any ideas? Think the filament could be to blame?
A picture of the actual extruder would have been nice. The rest of your pictures aren’t really helpful at all.
I’ve had filament wrap around the extruder drive wheel and get caught up on my H2C once - it resulted in the filament doubling up into loops and poking out of the side of the extruder assembly, I had to use flush cutters to snip the filament in pieces and work it out by grabbing the bits with pliers and commanding the extruder motor to turn in each direction as I gently pulled the pieces out.
Switch the power off and disconnect the PTFE tube.
Try to pull the filament out from the top. Make sure the left nozzle is active (nozzle blocker on the right side).
Because in the state of the image, the filament is locked in position.
Yup, that’s exactly what I expected.
Glad you got it sorted!
Well it’s not exactly sorted lol. Gotta figure out why this filament is doing this lol
I did try that and it wouldn’t pull out.
