Extruder scratching plate

Got an X2D a few weeks back. Have printed over a dozen or so prints. Articulated key chains. Some fantasy game terrain. A modi case. Some prints in PLA and some using ASA. Have not had many issues.

Today I switched back to PLA after doing about 5-6 prints in ASA. The print is a board game insert. Printing with PLA. It failed 3 times in a row with some adhesion issues and spaghetti. The last time the face plate fell off and I just put it back on. The last time I noticed scratches in my plate and then noticed a tab on the aux extruder sticking out (circled in blue).

No idea how this seemed to get bent. No idea what its supposed to look like or how to fix. Submitted a ticket to bambu but looking for any guidance on what might have happened and how to fix. Looking like I need to order a new plate for starters. But again. No prior issues. No manual intervention other than popping on the magetized face plate. No forcing. Etc etc. Thanks.

So kept doing research and looks like the flow blocker needs to be removed and replaced.

Also guessing I may need a different plate for asa than the pla. Not sure if that caused my issue ….

The textured PEI plate works great for both ASA and PLA, if you have adhesion issues it’s because you need to clean your build plate.

Dish soap, hot water, nylon scrub brush. Dry with paper towel.

Yes, that’s the filament blocker. You can probably bend it back (it’s very pliable). If that fails, replace.

Thanks @Shoal . I did not clean it previously. Should have probably been obvious. Ordered a replacement for the flow blocker and flipped/cleaned the plate.
