after replacing the extruder motor, gears, nozzle, filament buffer, plate, I am having a new issue with the extruder using both the ams and external spool. The extruder will push the filament out to a certain point then stop. No problems retracting. Any thoughts? I have adjusted the extruder tension screw in both directions, with no luck.
Sounds like overloading of the extruder motor.
Were you having this issue before?
When powered off, do all the extruder rotating components move smoothly?
Yes, I was previously having extruder issues. Bambu support sent me a new extruder motor, I replaced the gears and everything else on my own. Could it just be a bad sensor now? Or maybe another motor issue?
To clarify, plastic leaves the nozzle successfully, but stops [for some reason]. Or that the extruder takes the filament, pushes it to a spot within itself that stops and stucks, and no plastic leaves the nozzle?
