Fail to connect the X1C since 2025 no change @ all

Hy,

today I started first print in 2025. It´s not possible to connect the X1C to slicer software. The printer itself is in internet with about 24ms delay and in same wifi network as the pc. I don´t have changed anything in hard- or printer software. Off course the windows 10 updates and android updates are working…
In bambustudio 1.9.7.52 the printer is marked online, but the wifi logo is shown grey with red sign. In the app the printer is marked offline. I checked the network (is privat mode), logged off and on, turned printer off and on, tried orca slicer (same behaviour) nothing helps. Really frustrating.

what can I do else?

now printer is online in the app, but does not show any temperature etc. It´s shown in idle, but in reality it prints.
one thing i should mention is, that when I turned on my company laptop with vpn, the vpn software told something about network change, which means that it recognized some changes since last use 3 days ago. I don´t changed something, but perhaps vodafone or a change inside the company.

Did you , by any chance, have updated your printer recently?

yeah it was updated, but month ago. It was working fine until mid of dezember, but now it´s strugling. It was off since mid of dezember, today I started first time since then

reverse your firmware to your previous version and try printing again. it should work. downgrading the firmware can be easily launched via your Bambu handy.

How? It shows this

as you see it´s online & offline!

Go into the hamburger menu.

Go to “Firmware Version”. Scroll to the bottom, select “I want to downgrade to a previous version”. Follow the prompts.

LOL, Peter was faster to reply.

Well I do not have this Options

then try Settings-> General->Restore to factory settings, then see if it works. Eventually, you could update to the last version (prior to the beta one they’ve launched on 16 January). The firmware can be downloaded and installed via your sd-card, so you don’t need to go online with your printer. It’s the version I’m currently using and not updating it until Bambu decides to release one where LAN only mode is fully enabled.

whats about all the filament settings when going back to initial factory settings? I do not have the version from January by the way

Now Something strange happens, the printer does not respond at touchscreen anymore. Shut down and turn on, it works again.
Firmeare is 01.08.02.00

Now it connects itself.

I think the bambu guys had caused this failure!

if you haven’t created any custom filament settings, going to factory settings won’t change anything you had when first initiated your first print.

I go back to 01.08.00.00. The first available firmware. Off curse I have custom filament settings. I only use them, nothing else

save your settings on your sd-card or pc, then restore factory settings. then you can reuse your custom settings
