Hi
We’re using the A1 mini and AMS lite.
We had an unsuccessful print using PLA Cobalt Blue filament.
One of the fins of this whale model snapped at 98% of the print and then the printer tried to print in thin air.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks!
Did a support on the other side fail, it’s hard to tell with your pic.

Fails happen sometimes.
It could be a lack of support, it could be bad luck.

Hi Lion7718
Yes the fin on the far side snapped at the base by itself 98% into the print.
You don’t have a pic of that side…??
If not, can you slice the model as you did before & post a pic of the other side showing the supports…??
Sorry - no I don’t my son quickly whipped it off the plate!
Is it possible to change the thickness of each layer, do you think that would help?
If you can’t post a sliced pic from BS, can you post a link to the file so I can look at it.
EDIT: Is this it…??
Reading the reviews, there are a lot of fails. From what I gathered, you have to slow the speed way down & add more supports.

Try printing this file & see if it’s any better.
