My A1 is saying “failed to extrude the filament” but the filament (Bambu PLA Basic) is definitely extruding. I tried reinstalling the nozzle. Didn’t work. I replaced the filament cutter. Also didn’t work. Even tried reinstalling the filament spool and that still didn’t work. What do I do? I’m using an AMS Lite too.
I’ve made the mistake of not power-cycling my printer, and I’ve been chasing my tail until I power-cycle it, and it fixes the problem. Not saying that will work in your situation, but if you haven’t done that, it’s worth a try.
In ~9months I’ve only had that specific error once, and it was related to a very tiny piece of filament getting stuck in the extruder. I followed this video to open my extruder and clean it thoroughly.

I was shocked by how much gunk had built up on the gears after about 3 months of printing. I think it’s worth trying, at the same time, open a ticket with support. They are good but busy, so responses are slow. They will ask for logs, pics, etc… so send all of that as soon as you can just in case you don’t fix it beforehand. You can always close the ticket if you fix it yourself.
Oh and if you have installed a printed extruder wheel? Remove it and test. Some of them do not have good tollerences and put strain on the motor.
No, I did not install a printed extruder wheel. I disassembled and reassembled the entire exteuder unit but could not find a clog. Also power cycled but same issue.
I hope support is more helpful than I am.
Have you tried a different spool from a different spot on your AMS Lite? That would eliminate the problem being specific to something caught in the PTFE tube, a bad spool, or a bad AMS Lite motor. Just trying to give you ideas. If it’s none of those I’m thinking extruder motor, it’s easy to replace but you want to make sure that is what’s wrong before jumping at it. Hope you figure it out soon.
I’m having the same problem. I’ve taken apart everything I could, but haven’t found any issues. I even replaced the sensors, but it didn’t solve the problem. Did you find a solution?
Nope. Still communicating with Bambu support about it. They sent me a filament sensor & a filament sensor base but replacing them did nothing. I’ve narrowed it down to a possible issue with the AMS.
I believe the problem isn’t with the AMS. I removed my AMS and used the external reel, but nothing worked. I also replaced the sensors, but still no success. If you find a solution, please let me know.
I came here to ask about the same problem. My printer is only a few days old and has only successfully printed one thing though. Did you find a solution to this problem in your circumstance?

I had the same problem check to make sure that the 4 filament intake has the spring on it mine was missing and it fixed the problem immediately
