Failed to feed the filament into the toolhead

1st attempt

2nd attempt

A little context would be helpful.

Look for a tangle in the filament roll.

Is he using a manual spool ? or ams ?

Post says AMS. If you look at the 2nd pic, you can see it’s from an AMS…and that he needs to also adjust the purge.

You mean posted in ams thread ?
If you look at the pictures you see failed prints, perhaps he should not use pause
The above error is usually associated with manual loading

It’s from AMS. And also check for purge filaments too

After the error (1st time )then I started and the 2 nd time it happens, now it’s showing error only

Thanks for the context, try using a different filament spool , 2, 3,4 rather than 1
to check for a fault in the AMS.

Because of the error number 12008006 you should probably get in touch with support
and see what they suggest

Yes try to use other spools too 2,3 and 4. Same error

See above post as the only information ive found suggests you need tech support with what to do next

What did you do until now to troubleshoot the issue?
When does the error occur? during filament change or during printing without filament change at the time?

During filament change time in AMS

In short that message means that the filament did not make it to the filament sensor in the extruder or the sensor did not detect the filament there. During a filament change observe how far the filament gets before it starts pulling back again. Sometimes there is some damage/kinks on the PTFE tubing that causes the filament end to snag on. Check that the PTFE tubing is completely seated in the fittings since gaps and PTFE tubing ends cut in an angle can also cause the filament to snag on the edges. Dull or damaged filament cutter in the extruder can also result in burrs or other deformation on the filament ends when cut that cause issues during feeding thereafter. If everything is in good order then there might be something in the extruder/filament sensor that prevents the filament from being detected.

This appears to be a reoccuring issue for some owners with fixes from recycle 5 times to make sure filament is straight (reddit) even misaligned gears and loose screws in the toolhead itself, (error number ending 8007 forum post) support is probably the best option for the sake of warranty and peace of mind

What kind of filament is this? I’m seeing a lot of stringing, and wondering if you’re trying to use TPU?

gold silky PLA and normal PLA’s too
