Is there any (serious) reason why the fan status information is not shown directly in the Device tab and I have to (unnecessarily extra) click on the FAN item to get the information?
There is plenty of free space where the fan status display would fit without any problem. It’s a detail, but annoying. If there’s a good reason for this that I can’t see, then I apologize and ask for enlightenment …
That “empty space” is where the filament load/unload info gets shown. I don’t see why the fan section couldn’t also be reworked to show the speeds and require you to click on it still to edit it. Keeping it all together.
I know that the place mentioned is for information on filament (un)load. It was just an example (not the best one, I agree 
) … but anyway my wish still stands … I’d like to have FAN info at first glance …
