Printed this fan support from a memory card from a printer. Can someone explain to me what it is used for and where it is placed.

It’s to mount the “aux fan” on. That fan comes with the X1 printers but it’s an optional upgrade on the P1 printers. If you want my honest opinion it’s not needed and seems to hurt more than it helps. I keep it turned off all the time.

I think, the aux fan comes with P1S too. Only the for P1P it’s an optional upgrade.
