Far left X moves Y

Today I discovered something strange. My head does not want to move far left. When I mov it via X it goes until 220 and than move Y with X and than it stops.

Any ides, what can I do. It can print, and all works, but at the end it squills when moves the head far left.

No offense intended, but if it’s your own head you’re referring to, then you’re definitely talking to the wrong people (you need a real doctor); if it’s your print head you’re talking about, then perhaps someone of us can help.
Have you, since noticing this problem (not necessarily in this order):

  • executed a full printer recalibration?
  • checked your belts tension?
  • checked the free movement of your print head by moving it by hand?
  • cleaned the rods?

he he good one.
Did everything. 10 hours ago did clean and put everything together .I had to change the BED. SO it was working until now. The belts are OK. No tension , all moving ok, until the far left. have no clue

I stand corrected. Did the no power movement, and back and forth no problem, right side no problem, when i slide the PRINT HEAD to the left have to get the full force with my hands to slide it, it just does not want to move.
Checked all the belts, and no tangling all on the right levels

Was the last tension adjust and calibration 10 hours ago after the bed replacement or was it after you first noticed the movement restriction?

Sorry, my HEAD was not in the right place
Did the adjustment before the final start up… after the bed replacement. Not now.

Found the problem, a little “blob” on a carbon rod was causing the problem… had to miss that spot. and now all OK.

Thanks you guys.

Which proves (once again) that using one’s own head benefits one’s print head… greatly … than the other way around.
