Feature Request: Apple/Android Watch extension for Bambu Handy

Apple and Android Watch extensions for the Bambu Handy app would be very useful and not too difficult to write since the base platform apps already exist [source: I’ve written Watch apps before for both platforms].

Functionality could be expanded over time as well, eg start with a simple progress display and maybe a snapshot from the camera (if available) then add pause/speed remote controls, live video (transcoded and scaled down by the phone app), etc.

Eventually maybe even complications to add to the main watch display that show progress and bed/chamber/nozzle temperatures, AMS humidity sensor, etc.

I was thinking this would be cool. I dont always have my phone on me but always have my watch. Would ne need to get the notifications on the watch.

I did sugest the same thing to makerworld team. It would be so great to have it.

Any Update on this ?..would appreciate the requests to:

  • Pause
  • Resume
  • Stop
  • Camera Feed
  • Progress

So I could make a custom App / Watch Face …

I haven’t heard anything. And no idea if Bambu are even considering it. Hell I’ll write it for them if they let me.

I am also looking for that kind of features.
I have few Bambu Lab printers and will be very nice to have option to monitor all of them in the same time on one page (phone or tablet) like the image below.

I’d like this a lot. I had the octoapp for my ender and could control everything via my watch.

I would like this too
Also, to get notifications from Bambu lab on my Apple Watch

It’s not syncing with my phone and I often don’t know that the job had paused due to errors

I always wear my watch so I could instantly save my print

I too would love to see this! I use my apple watch all the time and being able to at least get notifications and able to stop my print would be nice!

Would love to see an update/reply from Bambu on this topic. This would be super useful, I’d even pay for a wearOS app.
