Feature Request: Color Mapping on Object Import

Just like you can map the colors when you sync filaments, do the same thing for additional objects when importing them.

Example: Making a bunch of Holiday mini’s, that all use the same colors.

Instead of having to print X (4 in my case) different batches, we could import the models and have them properly colored, for a single big print.

This would save both my time, and printer time. (Doing 4 different models, so that would be 3 less times I have to walk to the printer and remove them, and 3 fewer times the printer would have to run through it’s start print calibrations. Especially on the H2C, because it takes like 30min to calibrate at the start of the print. At least it certainly feels that long :D)

It would also save money, because there would only be 1 prime tower, instead of 4.

If the objects are not too big or tall you can do slice by-object, rather than by-layer to achieve some of what you are asking I think.

If you select this option then it prints each object one at a time - which works best for single colour objects as you can’t have a prime tower.

Yes, that works just fine, the problem is that when importing painted objects, they will use the mapping setup for the 1st object, thus all the colors are wrong. Sometimes it’s easy enough to re-color it manually, other times it can be a royal pain, so if we could choose the mapping for each imported object, it would save considerable time!
