Feature Request: Editing posts in Community tab

After spending half an hour blocking all the users begging for boosts in the community tab, I decided to give it a try (I mean you cant make the Community tab better by doing nothing), so I posted a printer upgrade for the #Printer Accessories “contest?,” well anyway did that but when I looked at it I realized I forgot to put the pictures on it, so I went to edit it, but when I clicked the drop down, the only options where to delete or change to private. So I deleted it and remade it only to realized I forgot the link. This happened like 4 or 5 times and I was get a bit frustrated with the lack of an Edit option.

@MakerWorld If this is a feature that could be added I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated.

Click the pencil next to the title and add the product-request tag so they see it

Am I missing something or am I just stupid , cuz I don’t see a pencil icon anywhere. (Sorry I’m pretty new to the forum)

“Basic users” have a limited time to edit posts. This time extends as you advance in trust levels. I’ve added the tag.

But this is really clumsy, for new users like me today -

Example: me trying to edit my post below and having to delete twice

  • [jmreina - Trying to Edit Posts.png] ← (ask for img I am not allowed to share media or links yet.)

Yuck. There are alternatives to mitigate new users or train them, as shown by other successful mainstream forums please let me know if interest - this looks & feels frustrating here

Best,
Justin

*Also, why is it not letting me embed media or symbols in my posts? Is this because I am new too?

Yes, your trust level has now increased so you should be able to post new threads, links and images.
