Feature request: Filter gift cards used / unused

When you have a lot of gift cards it can be hard to track which ones have been (partly) used and which ones are unused.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could filter out all the cards that have been used fuly, leaving only the cards that still have a monetary value to them?

Would this be possible to implement?

This is something requested yet, I hope @MakerWorld could handle this asap.

would be great … i had this issue all the time and had to keep track manually in a local document, with each unused card.
I just didn’t had the “gut” to complain about … too many gift cards :rofl: …

Some months ago i also posted about this. I hope it gets acknowledged by @MakerWorld as a QoL improvement.

same i think it would be cool to catually filter them or have a tab to now wich ones have been redeemed as if we forget one… im not a really big fish when i look at others that are 5 times bigger then me i cant imagine the time they must spend to look and make sure they didnt forget to redeem a gift card.

Maybe they can add a toggle that hides a few that’ll show up later for a little surprise lol

I also thought this was quite annoying that it’s not a feature yet. I’ve been tinkering with some extra features for makerworld through an extension and I made a toggle button that adresses this exactly in my dev build :sweat_smile:

It seems to be working on my pc but I still have to do some testing on other pc’s to see if it works! This is just a manual toggle feature instead of having a script check the value of the gift card which could raise privacy concerns regarding the gift card code.

I apreciate the effort, but BBL has promised to fix it themselves. I will be waiting for that.

That’s all good man! I’m just looking at some extra features I wanted and this was a nice one to add. Extension is currently only for my personal use anyways cuz it’s a little buggie.

I might release the extension at the end of the year if I’m happy with it and if there are enough quality of life improvements to my makerworld browsing :slight_smile:

I’ve noticed the gift card hiding feature to be a bit buggy with more than one page of cards. When I toggle between them it forgets the status or blurs ones that shouldn’t be. I don’t know if you’d want to invest much more time into it though as MW will (hopefully) release an official feature soon. Overall really love the extension though!

Oh strange, I only have 2 pages and there it worked. Are those redemptions all from the same date/time stamp?

I have pushed a fix in update 1.2 of the extension which should go live in a day or so. Now the gift cards with the same obtainment date are added to an array so they can be targeted individually rather than all at once. When version 1.2 goes live could you test for me to see if it’s fixed since I can’t test it myself :smiley:
