Feature request for HP nozzle offset calibration

I’d like to see some more options to use other filament types for the high precision nozzle offset calibration.

As of right now we can only use pla. I don’t ever really print pla so I had to order 2 rolls of it in order to use this calibration feature instead of using the PETG I already have.

Why is pla the only option for this calibration tool?

Are you kidding me -.-. I have been thinking of running this calibration all week but was putting it off as I didn’t wanna load white ABS. TIL I can’t use ABS for this, and like you, I don’t print PLA… Basically at all, so I don’t even have a roll of it.

Exactly! I was basically forced to buy 2 rolls of pla that I’ll never use other than for this calibration lol.

Seems weird that they’d limit it to pla, but I have a feeling they’ll unlock more filaments in the future. Well, I hope they do at least.

I feel like this was changed in the most recent firmware? I remember going through the menu and not seeing that requirement anymore. I could be wrong though

I wish it were. After updating to the latest stable release, the choice was still only pla.

I’m on the latest BETA, I’ll check when I get home and report back.
