I managed to convince my boss to replace the Prusa printers we have in our district with Bambu A1s. For security purposes, we will not place the printers on the wifi network. Would it be possible to get an adapter and/or an ethernet port on them so we can utilize the remote print features?

Best way is to make a local secure network to connect the printers to.
Or go get a pro branded machine with ethernet

Not only no, but you may want to reconsider. You’re obviously coming into this with a “i can be flexible” mindset providing you want to mod things to have ethernet, but this is ANATHEMA to bambu’s mindset, you get what you get, they fight you if you start changing it, and the full suite of controls you want are never exposed. Bambu’s software capabilities paint you as a CONSUMER, not a CUSTOMER, and there is a huge rift between those two things. Think apple vs pc.

I have to be flexible because I work for a school district lol. I did tell my boss that we’d have to get a different model but I know it won’t happen unless I buy it for personal use.
Well, if you do end up with them, they are good machines in the end
I’d follow what cincinatti mentioned, and setup a seperate 2.4ghz wifi network for them. Its a good use for old networking hardware, since the *1’s of bambus line have older wifi chips.
We’re already in love with the A1. I talked them up since I got one at home and was like “yeah they’re half the price and double the print speed!” the only downside is the hardwiring issue.
