I frequently incorporate Maker’s Supply components into projects and really appreciate the Bill of Materials features to enable easy ordering of components.
Currently, Bambu Studio users who browse models within that application are not shown the Maker’s Supply Bill of Materials in the model listing. This can cause confusion for users who are not aware of the specific components used in a project.
So that users are aware of these components, it would be helpful for the Bill of Materials to either be shown in full in Bambu Studio or for there to be a notice & link that this model uses Maker’s Supply components.
Here’s an example of a model being viewed in Studio where you can see that the listing does not include the BoM (unlike the web listing or the Handy app)
Thank you very much for your valuable suggestions! We’ve carefully noted this feature request and will collaborate with our Studio team to incorporate this new feature. Please stay tuned!
On a related note there also isn’t an easy way to purchase the full BOM through Handy, you can click items one-by-one but there isn’t a “Buy Now” button like there is on the full MakerWorld model page
One idea that could streamline the process and lead to more purchase conversions overall is to have a system where you can save a BOM or selection of parts for purchase later. I assume other users are like me and don’t want to order just $10 of parts and pay for shipping so a system that simplifies the process of saving parts to order later would go a long way.
