I love the new firmware update with a new rear spoolholder filament slot and ability to load/unload with one button. That is incredible and really makes this machine feel more like a professional product. However that functionality is still missing when filament runs out! I print a lot of TPU and PA-CF without the AMS and whenever filament runout happens or I pause to swap spools manually (lase night for instance it was gonna run out while printing overnight so I preemptively swapped to a full spool), I need to still tap the extruder movement buttons 50 times. Super annoying and unnecessary.
It won’t let you go to the filament menu to load or unload?
I can go to the filament menu but the load/unload buttons are not usable during a pause. (I forget if greyed out or just not there)
I can’t change the screen on my X1C(w/o AMS) while it is paused, so there is no access to the load/unload buttons. All I can do on the printer is Resume or Cancel the print.
I use the Device page controls in Bambu Studio or the Handy app instead.
