Every few gift card redemptions, Bambulab wants to check my activity – which is completely understandable.
However, I would really appreciate an email notification when this is done.
It’s a bit of a hassle trying to redeem points over and over again until it works.
Better yet, this process should automatically create a ticket so that it can be tracked instead of randomly waiting for it to be finished.
Or even just a notification via “System”, anything besides repeatedly trying and failing would be an improvement.
i agree. anything is better than finding out when you try to redeem, and the vagueness of “it can take 7 business days” isn’t that helpful either…
fwiw; I’ve usually had this clear within a day or two and not take the full 7.
I am on Day 4 of waiting? I earned enough to get another gift card in the mean time. Starting to wonder if I need to slow down my posting, am I hitting a weird suspicious threshold? My stuff is kinda small fry in my opinion.
Yes, I’ve been waiting for days too, sitting on points for a few gift cards. I’m wondering how the validity of an account verification works - is it valid for a certain period of time or for a certain number of gift cards or points? In the first case a notification would be very helpful, in the second case it may happen that not all points can be redeemed for gift cards. Especially given the current long time to check …
Seems to last about a week between verifications.
With the announcement of the changes to makerworld today I was able to request both of my gift cards and they were quickly approved. They must have turned the system off while they were making. These changes or finalizing these changes
Unfortunately this didn’t work for me.
Their tracking/notification system definitely could use some work. Another one is if you appeal a model being taken down, you just get a popup of saying it’ll take 7 days. There’s nothing that shows it’s in process, and I assume you just have to wait for a notification but who knows if they send one. I’m on day 4 waiting and nothing yet so we’ll see when it hits day 7.
Ultimately they don’t want people redeeming points, so I don’t think it will be a priority to make that part of the experience easier.
My account just went through its third time needing to be ‘cleared’ for redemption. It took 3 days this time, not bad at all.
Just try to redeem your points every few hours until you’re cleared.
It also seems like they have limited redemptions to 4 gift cards per week as of late. During black friday I was able to do 10 in the same day, and now it’s cutting me off at 4 for the week.
It would suck to have to be verified every week just to be able to claim 4 gift cards when the points are piling up
Would also be nice to see it say already redeemed or disappear after it has been used
