Feature request: show makerworld 'collections' in Bambu Studio

I know the staff picks are sometimes contentious, but personally I like seeing the live connection to makerworld inside of Studio. I just wish it were more directly tied to my own content and/or the content I’ve already browsed and collected.

Would love to see our makerworld ‘collections’ exposed inside Studio. Could be a single collection exposed, e.g. I have a collection called “next print” where I queue up those things I plan to print next. This would make great sense to find in the app.

If we had that I’d then be pushing for a way to directly load models from that feature in Studio, rather than a link that opens my browser which offers another link to open Studio… but one thing at a time here!

I apparently can’t like this so I’ll reply with my +1. This would be a huge help to me. I have been searching for models on a computer and adding them to collections so I can then print them from within Bambu studio only to find I don’t have access to my collections :frowning: .

Any feedback from bambu on this? I have been using the mobile app while my printer was on its way. I’ve added so many stuff on different collections and now that I have my printer set up, I can see no collections on the desktop app.

+1 on this.
Navigation on Maker world from Bambu Studio is really bad (you see almost no information from the prints, like no access to print profiles, comments, descriptions…). So I mostly navigate markerworld from the smartphone app.
From there I add a lot of projects to my collection in order to open them in Bambu Studio and configure a “good profile” for my printer etc…
Currently I cannot do this properly and am forcer to open back markerworld website from the computer and find again the projects… Really bad user journey.

It only seems logical to have collections available in the Bambu Studio app. Very surprised they aren’t. Can we get Bambu to comment on this? Is it on the roadmap?

Totally agree, I would like a little bit more fluidity from inside of bambu studio to get to makerworld within a browser. I can see the conflict of forcing users to jump back and forth but at least giving us an external URL capability even if the majority of the experience is to stay inside the software.

Yes, no news here? It seems illogical not to have access to collections from the studio

I am able to access my collections from Bambu Studio. It is a feature that was added a few updates ago.

From the home screen select ‘online models’, then select the profile icon in the upper right of the window. Select ‘collections’ from the drop down.

I don’t see any avatar in the upper right or ‘collections’… can someone explain to me how to access them from bambu studio?

in Bambu Studio:

  1. make sure you are logged in. you’ll see your username and avatar at the top left of the “home tab” (green circle in the screenshot)
  2. click “online models” (blue circle in screenshot)
  3. at the top right of the screen you’ll now see “collections” (red circle in the screenshot)

Let me know if you need further guidance and, if so, where your experience differs from what I’ve described.
