Featuzre: Disable AMS in Software

Hello,

it would be helpful when AMS could be disabled via Display/Handy/Studio. When feeding filament directly its working with Splitter, but the need to unplug AMS is very unhandy.

Thanks,
Steffen

There is an option to disable it when you send your file to the printer. In the menu where you can choose the color, there is a box to disable AMS. The same option is shown at the display from x1c when you start a print with the display.

Thank you very much!

they took the option to do this away in the new update… why would they do that, and how can i turn it off now, just let me print tpu

When you send for print, you can click on the filament and choose the external spool

Disabling AMS in software makes a lot of sense for users who prefer manual control or are troubleshooting print issues. Would be great if Bambu Lab added this as a toggle feature. Anyone tried a workaround yet?

I’ve also been looking for a way to disable AMS via software seems like a useful feature for those of us running custom setups. For anyone interested in optimizing their workflow with similar tools, check out HEYAPKS some neat utility apps that can help streamline tasks.

Every time is just annoying I dont have a AMS dont want one would just like to print with out goimg through extra whoops why no just detect if there is one and then turn it on,
