Feedback to BBL #002 No alert re: no build plate

BBL: If you’re monitoring this forum, please be advised that my P1S performed a print on the build platform rather than alerting me that the build PEI build plate was not installed. My A1 Mini alerted me that I had failed to install the build plate. Great feature. Please add it to the P1 series.

(Newsflash) They are not… monitoring the forum… or giving a damn on what people are complaining of. There seems to be a couple of BL employees roaming around, (rarely) and when (and if) they do, they don’t answer to anyone, nor do they escalate any recurring complaints to their managers…so,in this note, don’t bother trying. You won’t hear anything back from BL (also applying to your tickets, if you’ve had the misfortune to have filled one already)… but if you do manage to get an answer, then share it with all of us, as that will be immediately classified as “the 8th wonder” of the world…

The likelihood of BL ever even noticing little old me in a sea of users is extremely unlikely. When I post a note of feedback, it gets it into the record of time. I don’t expect anyone from BL to say “Hey Bill, we read your feedback and we like what you have to say. We’ll call you in the morning and arrange a flight for you to come to the factory to see if you can suggest any ideas about how we build our printers!” On the other hand-- if you don’t speak up, you shouldn’t complain. As to the support ticket-- I recently did file one and I complained to anyone who would listen that it was tedious and required me to answer too many questions. But, much to my surprise, they responded in only a couple of days and requested even more info. If they were faking interest in my issue, they sure spent a lot of time doing it (They weren’t). Now it was them waiting for me. I wanted to wait a few days to see if my problem was resolved before getting back to them. But they didn’t want to wait. They emailed me wanting to know if I was having any more trouble or if the problem was indeed resolved. They also sent some photos showing parts of the machine to pay close attention to. I’m reluctant to celebrate prematurely, but as it now stands, I have bought the best printers out there (BL) with great service to go with them. What do you think about them apples Mr. Drakko?

Them apples aren’t sour nor sweet, they just are… and, everyone here speaks from own experience(s) (usually), or from others’ experiences (not very often, but have noted it on occasions). So you have had a positive experience with BL. Good for you, and I can only express my sincere hope that your experience is going to be one of many more to come, and that (perhaps) BL has finally learned the long awaited lesson on how it should (and is expected to) handle its customers.

Me too bro! Got my fingers crossed.
