Thank you so much for sharing the files. I am really impressed by the 3D scan, by the way. What a nice tribute. Going to have to look into this Einscan device.
The settings file you sent is very useful. However, it seems to lack a Bronzefill filament profile. Do you have one? The version I see has “Generic PLA” built-in setting selected. You can see this below, highlighted in green:
If you do have a preset, could you possibly save your Bronzefill preset as a “Preset Inside Project” in your .3mf? Screenshot below, this screen appears when editing filament settings after hitting save icon at upper right.
Hello again … actually there is no preset made or altered . this is the preset I use for basicly all filaments ( LOL). I rarely adjust if needed but dont store as a preset … i always print a test file (a sfere 10 cm round) very thin ,like one wall only ,and judge the quality and if needed adjust the temperature only … but to be honest nearly everthing prints neat in the generic pla setting … there is nothing to it really !!. did you make the print allready ? how is youre extruder motor by the way mine was running very hot at first and the metal fills kept stopping printing randomly .so i cool it with a small 24 fan on the left side of the printhead running on only 5 volt from a phone charger …
please keep me posted … have fun … ( ps where do u live ?? ) i am in the Netherlands
Oh, wow! I’m surprised the generic PLA profile works so well. Thank you for the tips. When I have some free time I am going to test out the 3mf settings you shared with me and will let you know. Interesting idea re: extruder motor.
Thank you again from the help. Warm wishes from the USA.
Hello ,well …issa simpel ey … its all basicly standard exept the layer height … for practicly invisable layers I sometimes go down to 005 even with the 0.6 nozzle .
ik mostly go for the most finest (Hi Q) preset available in the system presets and then adjust my layerheight downwards … and in the same percentage all the speeds… so when a half the layer i half the speed …
I never store these settings … but tinker as i go … but remember all fill ( wood metal stone ect ect need bigger nozzles … even a 08 nozzle is very good with these layer heights… ik dont know what all the fuzz on this comunity is about in the search for perfect settings cause my print come out beautifull all the time … only VFA is my enemy on some filaments … the A1 is my worst printer to that matter … My ultimaker 3 is free from vfa and also my Zortrax M300 … my wanhou dup 6 is also neat in that matter … I bought the A1 for its speed mostly . and I print a lot with it when business is up the roof… …
