Fewer layers when scaling up

I have an object that is 150mm in height with 1225 layers at 0.2mm layer height in Preview. When I uniformly scale-up the object 130% (resulting in ~195mm height), the layers DROP to ~1000 in Preview at the same layer height. The math doesn’t make sense. I would expect a taller object to have more layer lines if both versions are at 0.2m Layer Height. What’s gong on?

Are you sure you are scaling the model to 130%?
I looks like you are setting the size to 130mm.

See: 130mm/150mm*1225 layers = 1062 layers.

The problem was Adaptive Layer Height. I had it set on the original model before deciding to scale it up, but BS removes it when scaling without notice or any indication.

I didn’t thought about that. I never would. Nice catch.
