The title is clear, I have no filament going into the extruder-asssembly and the wiki is of no help. what should I do to get this going?
Printing ABS from the AMS which is dry and filled with desiccant constant moisture is 20%.
Not now looking for reason, but what to do next, as the printer keeps giving me same message, afte r"retry", print is 99% ready, but will not do anything else, also not after de-powering, incl pulling the plug…
Have you removed the filament sensor to check to see if it is clear?
Here is how to remove it.
Been there, done that, know your frustration…
This is especially bad as there is no way to continue a failed print.
But for the rest I found a way that won’t involve taking the entire machine apart:
Turn the machine off and disconnect the AMS if you have one.
Use a spool of forgiving material, like ABS or PETG that is NOT brittle already.
Turn on the printer and select to load new filament from the tiny controller.
Manually feed the filament in and press retry until the new filament comes out.
You will feel it moving forward a little bit every time you press repeat.
Once the broken bits are out unload and you are good to go.
If there is a lot left in the tube to the extruder:
Manually set the nozzle temp to 230 or what is required for the stuck filament.
Feed in new filament so you can push the old one with it.
Enable the extrude and let it transport by pressing down on the display ring.
Clears the line quickly unless something is blocked.
