Filament Buffer Banging

Just noticed my filament buffer banging a lot. I wonder what that could be and/or if normal.

Every ~10min the buffer will start a sequence of several (~10) banging noises. Sound is coming from the buffer sliding right, which it seems to be doing very aggressively some times.
AMS and print seems normal.

Mine was sort of making a banging noise, maybe not as frequent as yours. I found that one of them was sticking a little bit during its movement. I put a very light/thin coat of synthetic grease on the sliding contact surface. Seems to have fixed it for me.

When I say thin, I mean like you wouldn’t even be able to tell it was there unless you touched it and felt it on your fingers.

Dear Customer,

I am sorry you are having this issue, I am here to help

Is the left extruder connected to the same AMS2 PRO as the right extruder, or are you using multiple AMS2 or an AMS HT?

Can you please check the filament buffer spring, and reconnect the buffer connections

If the issue persists, can you please reconnect the 6-pin cable to another port on the AMS2PRO?
