This is my first post here, so I hope someone can help me with an issue I’m having.
I have a Bambu Lab A1 with AMS lite and I’m still quite new to 3D printing. So far, I have only printed single-color models, and everything has worked perfectly.
Now I wanted to try my first print using two different filament colors. The print starts with Filament 1 and then changes to Filament 2 without any problems. However, when the printer tries to switch back to Filament 1, the print stops with the following error:
HMS_1200-8006 – Filament cannot be fed into the extruder
I have already checked whether the filament can move freely through the AMS lite and the PTFE tubes. I have also checked and cleaned the extruder and nozzle to make sure there is no blockage. Unfortunately, the problem still occurs.
I’m using Bambu Lab PLA with a nozzle temperature of 220 °C.
What I find strange is that the filament change from Filament 1 → Filament 2 works, but the change from Filament 2 → Filament 1 fails every time.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem with the A1 and AMS lite, or does anyone have any suggestions on what else I could check?
