Filament drying using the X1/P1 series 3D printers

When filaments absorb moisture from the air, printing issues like stringing, decreased layer adhesion and part brittleness can occur. To resolve these print quality problems, drying the filaments is essential.

Filaments can be dried before printing using either a Blast (Forced Air) Drying Oven, a filament drier or the X1 and P1 Series Bambu Lab Printers.

This Wiki article provides instructions on using the X1/P1 Series printer heatbed for filament drying:

After drying, it is recommended to store moisture-sensitive filaments with effective desiccants in a sealed container or the AMS, and use them promptly to prevent reabsorption of moisture.

Have you tried drying filaments with your printer? If so, what are your thoughts on how it impacts print quality?
