When you swap filament sensor 3 and 4 did you transfer the wire harness also or check it with a multi meter ??
I swapped the entire unit, and then plugged the one that was previously in slot 4, but now is in slot 3, into slot 3’s wire input thingy… and vive versa. So, if the problem is hardware, or something inside that unit, then it should have changed and reported the problem with AMS slot 3 now… but it doesn’t.
Thats why I’m suggesting the board inside the AMS at the back of the unit (the AMS main board) may be the issue
Slot 4 obviously has a problem and you’ve eliminated the funnel and wiring but something may have been disturbed back there
I’ll let @3DTech take over from here as nothing I’m suggesting is working or perhaps is not being taken into account
Moving forward I will just observe with the hopes that you get this sorted or at the very least figure out the issue
Hello everyone, although I know this was written a long time ago, I’m Vietnamese so I’m not very good at English. I have a Bambu Lad x1c machine and my error is the same as yours but mine is stuck in the third box of the AMS department but I have checked everything but I don’t know where it is stuck. Please help. Thank you.
I just started having the same issue as Mike23 & this started RIGHT AFTER the last update to the firmware. I’m going to try & roll it back. I am on 1.9.3.50 right now.
how do I roll back the firmware? pretty sure this is a firmware issue as it printed flawless until I updated when prompted.
Welcome to the forum.
You can roll back the firmware via the Handy App.
Settings / Firmware Version / I want to Downgrade to a previous version (scroll to the bottom)
I would suggest trying a factory reset before downgrading the firmware. Factory resets seems to solve odd problems especially after firmware upgrades.
wow, they really want you to put an app on your phone dont they.
is there a way to do this without a phone app?
trying a reset. hope this removes the phantom external spool and gets the ams back
