Filament not going into left nozzle on H2C

I’ve started noticing my H2C doing this on the left nozzle when loading filament. It honestly looks like it is sitting too low but that’s where the magnet is pulling it.

Take off the silicone sock and show us what the clasp looks like please…

@CarbonForge

Well, full points for doing up the left clasp right, I thought with the boot askew for sure it would be on wrong.

There’s a spring loaded guide that “follows” the hotend when it’s extended, it should initially be sitting against the hotend when you first select it.

By chance, is the last filament you printed something really high temp and now you’re trying to use something much lower temp?

Nope, it’s been various PLAs for a month now in the left nozzle.

Pull the front cover off, there is something not in the right place.

I just noticed that while looking at troubleshooting stuff. I pushed it down but now I want to know why it was caught in the first place.

Yes, that’s the guide I was referring to.

Im sure you dont want to hear it, but I would be digging deeper thinking it is possibly dirty/sticky/loose screws or something.

Yeah, I’m going to have to disassemble this and see why it is sticking

A very small piece of filament was wedged on the bar and preventing the guide from working
