Hi, I am having problems printing, and I am pretty sure there is filament stuck in the nozzle. It started when I was printing something in Bambu PLA basic, and I came back to find it only about 20 layers tall and trying to print at layer 200 but no filament was coming out. I stopped the print and tried loading filament, but it said something was wrong with the motor of the AMS. I did the steps to fix that, but it kept happening. I tried unloading the filament, but then it said the same thing and said it could have been something with the extruder. I took it out, and there was filament inside of it. I couldn’t get it out, so I resorted to a heat gun and used a paperclip to pull out the filament, but the problem still persists. Should I get a new nozzle? Or is it with the motor?
I am thinking there is a clog in the nozzle. Of course the easiest way is to try a needle down through the nozzle. If an .4 or smaller goes through, the issue is either another clog in the extruder or the AMS.
The simplest explanation would be a clog. If you have another nozzle swap it. I would think you’d have done this already so either the needle, a small alan key to push filament out, or get that other nozzle.
Ok, I was thinking about getting another nozzle too. I will try it
