Hi all, I have a few filament copy presets that I’m trying to get rid of to clean up my settings. I delete them from the program, I delete them from the windows folder, and every time I click New Project, they all reappear.
What am I missing? How can I get rid of these for good?
The windows folder location: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\BambuStudio\user\171715515\filament
Don’t be - Bambu is great at many things, but user interface is definitely not one of them. An X button usually means “close”, not delete, where we might otherwise expect to see a trashcan icon or similar. I missed it the first time myself.
Oh my god, THANKYOU!! That has been driving me nuts for months! I was going into the folders and deleting them, emptying recycle bin only for them to come back like nothing had happened! Now to go through my old presets one by one
I cant access the edit menu, I am trying to delete them from the “Unsupported” catagory. its greyed out but still shows the filement.
IE: in bambu studio click the filement, then in that drop down near the bottom there is unsupported presets, I tried to post a pic but cant in this post.
I have read multiple times just select the filement and edit. I can’t from here, I have deleted all the files in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\BambuStudio\user\\filament
Then they just redownload from the cloud.
I have unisntalled Bambu Studio and reinstalled… then downloaded from the cloud.
Is there ANY way at all to delete them from Bambu Cloud? Or what am I missing??
Just figured this out. The “unsupported” category are profiles for different nozzle diameters. I had presets for .4 and .2 mm nozzles and you can only select profiles for the nozzle you have currently selected in Bambu Studio. Switch to a different diameter and the greyed out profiles should become selectable and can then be deleted in the manner mentioned above. Hope that helps
