Before I get started on this, I don’t have an AMS (there are reasons why).
I have yet to successfully load filament and continue a print when the filament runs out. I can load the filament just fine. It grabs the filament and purges filament, but it won’t print. The nozzle head moves but no filament comes out. The first time it happened I thought it was a clog. Nope. No clog as I was able to extrude the filament through the Temperature/Axis menu after I stopped the print. I’m not changing filament brands, types, or even colors after the run out, and the filament has been sealing and properly dried. I’ve tried this multiple times with the same results: filament will load, no filament will print. Start with a print with the same loaded filament I loaded after the runout, it prints just fine. Any advice on what is going on.
