Because when the printer suffers a jam, it continues printing empty???, shouldn’t it stop thanks to the filament sensor???
Depends on the type of sensor, if it is a presence only sensor then it will keep going as it “sees” filament in the hotend but there are flow sensors that can track to ensure the filament is moving as it should and I assume with you problem that it is a presence only sensor.
