Confirming Mac still has this issue. Extremely frustrating.
The way Bambu Slicer will flat out refuse to let you reallocate filaments if the profile doesn’t match what the AMS is saying - AND will not let you update the filament type in the profile - is extremely user hostile.
I have been left with no choice but to write out manually all the settings, create a new filament profile, and manually copy them all back in, then delete the old one - all because I created the custom profile from ‘Generic ABS’ not ‘Generic ASA’. Doubly infuriating because… ABS and ASA are virtually identical, settings-wise - but I did the calibrations for the filament saved in the AMS…
Fix this Bambu, this is lazy s***
