Filament stuck in chute

Hi! I have this problem every now and then and idk how to fix it. The filament gets stuck at the top of the chute after every color change. Idk why it’s not falling through. Do I need to replace the lever or any of the other parts?

This is a bambu x1c

There are way too many options to cover in just one post but go onto the web and find some of the printable better options for nozzle wiping.

I was using this one which worked great out great for solving the issue you described.

That worked for about 8 months, until I found an even better one which used a silicone blade.

And in my quest to find an even better one, I modified one of the scores of wipers that use the A1 silicone nubs. I’m using this now and I’m giving it mixed reviews but it solved the issues I had with my modified purge G-Code.

Those are my top three but there are dozens of them out there. I’m sure you’ll find something that works for you. Or… you can print one of your own design. :yum:

Omg thank you so much for this!! #1 looks like a quick easy print I can do to save my current project.

Funny, I actually just watched a YouTube about some of the improved nozzle wipers. I was hesitant to try them but more inclined to try now.

I appreciate the quick reply :slightly_smiling_face:

You are missing the anti-sticking sticker on the inside of the shute. It’s a 1,5x1,5cm white ssquare.

Omg I had a 1.5 by 1.5 metal square fall off the printer when I transported it a couple months ago. I couldn’t figure out where it went so I just tossed it in my drawer!!!

I need to figure out how to add that back!

You rock!

Also, if I ignore the errors and keep resuming the print it will fix itself. It would be nice if I could disable the filament pileup error. I theoretically should never have a pileup. I made tubes that wrap around my printers and poop into a giant printed trash can on the front.

I managed to put the sticker back on mid print  and it totally fixed the problem! Such a life savor. Today I learned! Thank you soooo much, this made my day.
