Filament stuck on nozzle clip

Hello!

So I had a nozzle clog happen to me recently on my A1 Mini, and I removed most of the filament from the nozzle and other parts. But I’m struggling to remove the remaining filament on the nozzle clip. I will attach a picture below

Looking forward to responses!

Leave the nozzle off & use Maintenance Mode to heat up the nozzle to 208*
Give it about 10 min & pull it off with the tweezers.

Thank you!
I’ll definitely try that

@lion7718 I have one more question,
Is it okay if there is some filament residue?

The only thing that might cause is…
Sometimes the nozzle will not come out when cold…
The clips might stick to the nozzle when cold.

If you can, take a brass brush to it or a wet towel to try & wipe it off.
Do not use IPA, you don’t want to start a fire.

I’ve just a similar problem. No amount of cleaning sorted it, once the plastic has got into the hinge there’s no realistic way to clean it out enough to make the hinge work again when cold.
Just buy a new heating element and fit it. (Worth keeping a spare in stock in case it ever happens again)
