I want to buy filaments together with 3d printer. I think there are 3 filaments in the box. Are these filament spools reusable spools? So I will buy one spool and there will be 4. If not, I will order 4 spools and get all my filaments refillable from now on.
Also, is the spool of spool filaments on the site a refillable reel?
Every spool that you get with the printer is refillable. Some filaments that you buy separately will come without a spool, but can be put on the refillable spools. All of the Bambu Lab spools can be opened in the middle. Also there is a way to print your own spools. On the X1C and P1P there is a model already sliced for PLA, which you can simply print out, if you need additional spools.
I actually downloaded a spool model from printables (comes in two pieces), which is very lightweight and in the slicer I added some additional elliptical features, where the stickers can be put on. Therefore I don’t know how the precliced spools look like.

How many spools does the X1C combo come with?
If it is 4, i’ll take only refill filaments.
I think it’s three. I don’t remember, since I did not by one. I unpacked and set up the one at my workplace.
However, there is only one problem with only getting four: You would probably sometimes want to swap colors. In these occasions you don’t have any free spools left. I had this exact issue and since ordering a new spool takes time, I printed a few instead.
EDIT: I just checked the product page. There it also says three (see section " What’s in the box").

Thanks. I will buy 3 filaments with spool and 4-5 filaments refill. Totally i will have 6. I think enough for start
Last time I checked, ordering additional supplies in the same order as the printer does not change the shipping cost, and the additional supplies are not shipped with the printer. Extras are always shipped separately. In addition, if you buy a certain amount of supplies (cost) then they ship free.
Correct, this information is actually listed on multiple pages and also applies to the AMS. So, if one buys a printer or an AMS, shipping will be charged, no matter what. If you order additional stuff I would even think the printer might not even count towards that, but when I checked, it does. So you’re not going to pay for shipping twice, except if you buy a printer and an AMS seperately. In fact if you buy 5 printers and 5 AMS, you’re bein charged shipping 10 times (however, the rates between the printer and the AMS vary).
Hello, I’m trying to swap the old spools with refill filament but I couldn’t open the finished spool. Is there a trick to this? How did you do it?
