Not sure if this is a settings issue, but the studio never remembers the filaments in the AMS, I have to Resync every time I prepare a print (after having to click on the Device tab because it wont sync otherwise).
So firstly, if I only have 1 printer, why do I need to choose it? Never used to have to do this.
Secondly, why won’t the software just remember what I have in there? Or at the very least just ask the printer on every launch? Never used to have to do this either.
I can make my peace with this when opening other people’s projects, those have filament presets, but my own?
It’s really annoying to open the studio and see the filaments that haven’t been in the AMS for months.
I might have the same issue. My issue is that the filaments seem to be stored in the cloud. I have to click the home button for the bambu studio to automatically sign in and after that the filaments show up.
Try what @tukez suggested, it worked for me. Click the home button and it syncs. Slightly annoying when you open bambustudio by clicking on a STL/3MF file which skips that screen, but not big of a hassle.
This is so frustrating. For over a year, I have been able to hit print and continue with the latest filament I had loaded, and now this software defaults to Bambulabs PLA white every time I relaunch the software. I have never bought and will never buy Bambulabs PLA white purely because of the cost to get it to where I live (rural). Because I have a PLA white loaded, which I use constantly for test models, it always switches to that filament instead of the one I wanted and begins printing. Lately, I’ve been printing in transparent PETG, but my printer never remembers what I’m using.
Is this some sort of ploy to get people to buy Bambulabs PLA?
