I am trying to be able to format the output filename so I know at least what nozzle size I selected and filament type. I noticed there is no place to put that info so it adds it every time for me. I just recently opened Orcaslicer and found it was there under the others tab. Since it seems like both slicers use the same print profiles I was hoping adding it under the Orcaslicer would add it in Bambu Studio but no luck. Is there any other option in Bambu Studio to add this info automatically?
You ever figure this out? I’m used to Prusa Slicer and SLic3r and it was easy to get the filename changed to whatever I wanted. Not so easy in Bambu Slicer from what I can find.
Honestly the gui sucks compared to Prusa Slicer.
No luck unfortunately. I gave up with it. If you can use orcaslucer until they block it.
There got to be a way. I started using Bambu Slicer for my Tronxy printer using the presets provided in Bambu Slicer and the generated gcode files automatically include material type and estimated print time.
But i still have not found the settings.
For anyone still looking for this: you can enable Developer mode in Bambu Studio under Preferences, and then the Filename format option appears under Process > Others.
That solved it for me!
In bambu studio 2.5.0.66 is not working… the .gcode.3mf continue with the stl name or the primitive name.
