Searching for my particular issue has turned up nothing, so I am asking fresh.
My place of work does not allow the Bambu printers on the wi-fi network since they do not meet our minimum networking standard. We have installed a hotspot for the printers which gets them internet access.
From home or the Handy app, I can communicate with our X1C printers normally, but unable to connect to the Server from a PC on our LAN.
Our Network Team requires specifics on the Server I am trying to reach to create a Firewall exception, but I have turned up empty handed when trying to ferret them out.
Does anyone know the Bambu Studio Servers IP/FQDN, ports, and protocols used that I can give our Team to open a Firewall exception so we don’t have to sneakernet every print?
Thank you for the link tweety55, but the printer network settings aren’t an issue in my case.
Looking for granting Bambu Studio access to the Server through our Firewall.
If you know the ip-address of the printer you can snif the network traffic blocked on firewall or proxy server. Then you know what url’s, ip and ports needs to be allowed on the security devices.
Our network is Corporate, so I have no direct access to the Firewall.
Using the information in the Wiki the_Raz pointed out, I have submitted an FCCR to our Network Team, if it passes IT-Sec and gets me connected, I’ll post the info after redacting our specific info.
Hopefully having it laid out will help someone in a similar position in the future.
