Firmware bug?

I’ve had a few instances where during a print my nozzle will either move to the front right corner and park then move back to printing or actually park on the model momentarily then continue printing

Is this only affecting me or have others had the same issue ?

I might go back to the previous firmware if I can’t find a solution

Too bad though, I’ve really enjoyed the latest firmware updates

Also noticed my HMI seems a bit laggy or slower to respond than previously

Bummer

Edit :
This happens when printing with a .4mm nozzle at .08mm layer hights (30 max vol speed and 4 seconds layer time) and for the record thats using my CHT clone modified nozzle assembly
It is possible that it’s something to do in the slicing
I’m currently looking into it
Previous to the newest firmware this wasn’t an issue though so I’m leaning towards the firmware but not yet ruling out user error

Hi Jrock,

I have not had the parking or stop problem with the new firmware is the nozzle temps reading ok when this happens ?

Ya the HMI has slower touch response now :-1:

Temps are on the money

I went through every setting in my slicer (Orca 1.6.2) and found nothing that would cause this

Literally just finished downgrading to 01.04.01 and 00.00.05.96

Doing a test now with the exact same sliced file to see if this is firmware related or not

Honestly I hope it isn’t because I was enjoying a few of the new features but if it is the firmware no big deal, I’m ok without the extra luxury of the external filament option on the touchscreen and the fan noise at idle never bothered me

I’m actually starting to think that the MC board fan not running all the time might be overheating the drivers a touch

Perhaps a low speed rather than completely off might be a better option for those with sensitive hearing

As for the firmware downgrade or even an upgrade it is easily done remotely through the handy app

I had to edit my screenshot because it showed my serial numbers

Don’t want any weird prints sent to my printer lol

Booooooooooooooo…

Problem solved via the firmware downgrade

I’ll send a report to Bambu and see what they can do with it

I kind of thought something was off with the newest firmware with the laggy sometimes frozen touchscreen

This older version works fine but it would be nice if we could mix and match the firmware for the printer and the AMS

No problem though, back to printing without issues :man_shrugging:

Did you post in the BL started thread about the new firmware release. The guy who started it might see it and respond faster than tech support to find a solution.
