I’ve downgraded to a previous firmware (Ver 01.04.01) in an attempt to stop excess oozing and can’t find a filament ‘load’ function anywhere. ‘Unload’ is visible … but not ‘load’.
Is it missing … or am I missing something?
The load button was not available in early firmware versions, I’m not sure which specific update it was added in.
“Load” is a recent addition. Just heat up the nozzle, apply some pressure to the filament while tapping the extruder “down” icon.
Thanks for the reply.
Looks like it may have been added in in 01.05.02.00
That’s what I figured.
Did it and ran some test prints … but filament is still oozing. Have upgraded to the latest ver again and will play around with a few more settings. I have done a full calibration in Orca, so most settings should be fairly close.
Have you tried retract settings?
yes I’ve tried changing the retract settings … with little effect.
What filament is it?
Have you tested in the Bambu slicer?
Hi Everybody
Yesterday I updated my X1C printer to version 1.8.00. Afterwards I did all the calibrations. I encountered a few situations. 1- The motors are working louder. 2- The vibration test it did at the beginning of the print was both longer and louder. 3- When it was finished printing, I think the housing came out because it pulled too much when it pulled the jhead towards the camera. 4- It’s been spaghetti a few times. I downgraded it to 01.08.00.00 via the Bambu mobile Handy application. (Settings > Firmware version > Under the page>I want to downgrade to a previous version)
I don’t think you can downgrade any further than the options given in the Handy app.
Before changing firmware again try Settings>General>Restore Factory Settings and then calibrating again. I’ve found that will correct many upgrade-related problems, and I have never needed to downgrade to restore proper operation.
Thanks for your feedback and additional information, Also, I have forgot the versiyon so 01.08.02.00 downgrade to 01.08.00.00 by handy app.
