Same issue on my X1C, horrible noise when the bed try to go through the bottom of the printer.
Not sure it’s good for the printer…
Hope it will be fixed soon.
@Alkerion Dont worry, the sound is motor skipping and this doesn’t do anything at all to the printer. Bambu lab stated this as well. But yeah, it is really annoying… I will do analysis of the 3MF files now. What setup do you have (your pc os, Bambu studio version and FW version of printer)
So I have checked the Gcode and couldn’t find and G38 P2 command (which tells printer to measure current overload on Z axis)… Could anyone please post their gcode (anyone with working z bed stop)
Check your slicer version and maybe update your profile configurations if its not there. However, I don’t think that GCode command is present within any start or running GCode. It’s only present within firmware.
Maybe true, but it is really weird. Is there any way to check whether I have up to date profile configs? Also, in which version did you try that this works?
If you’re using the latest Bambu Studio slicer, then you should have the latest profile configs. However, like I said, that probably doesn’t have an effect on the issue at hand. This could require a factory reset or maybe the z-stepper motor isn’t sensing the back-current when it grinds the bottom, which would requite sending in a support ticket. If they aren’t responding that fast, you can just manually set the bed higher before every print for now.
Okay the problem is gone!!! I have updated to 1.05.02.00 and the issue is gone. Thanks @Bunko many many times for helping!! I suggest updating slicer and printer, thats what helped me. Then test it.
Jolly good! Glad to help out! Enjoy 3D printing!
