Any issues with the latest firmware update?? I am avoiding it as the last two threw my printers into chaos! I am concerned about hours of trouble shooting, interrupted production, and time spent here researching. All input appreciated. So far I just close the update notice window on my printer. No reason to go through that ■■■■ again. Thanks to all for comments.

I installed the update; everything is running great, just like before. No problems.
Just unboxed one I purchased yesterday and updated it to the latest / calibrated it.
Prints perfect. Amazing little machines.
I’ve been getting the Filament extrusion warning on each print i start since updating.
It feels like it’s the firmware as I haven’t changed anything else. But not sure.

Hi, I have the same problem. It seems to occur on printers without AMS; I have one with AMS Lite and that warning doesn’t appear, but it does on the one I use with only an external reel. I hope they fix it.
Yes, my A1 mini has been glitchy since the last firmware update. The on-board screen keeps freezing and I’ve also gotten the filament warnings.

I upgraded to 1.08.01 and for some reason my A1 keeps purging and thinking it’s changed colours with the external spool. I tried troubleshooting everything, the g-code, the slicer, in case the printer thinks it has an AMS, ect. Nothing worked so I just downgraded to 1.08.00. I’ll just wait for the next patch update because the new version has Vietnamese which I prefer.

Yes, it’s really annoying to send a print job and then see it’s paused because it’s waiting for extrusion confirmation. I don’t know why they implemented that on printers without AMS; from what I can see, it hasn’t been fixed. Maybe Bambú set it that way and doesn’t listen to users. It’s a shame; I’ll stick with the previous firmware.
I’ve been having issue on my bambu studio & bambu handy for a week now after updating everything to the latest software & firmware . So I went and do LAN and logout of bambu studio and bambu handy . It sort of works , still dropping connections between the bambu studio on my mac and the printer. I just had this A1 mini for over a month and now it’s kind of bricked , I can sort of print . Not a very stable software or firmware. I am very disappointed on their software. I even did a factory reset , tried going back to the old bambu studio software and firmware , no luck same issue. What a waste of time and money.
My A1 have been weird working since updated. Print results are all not good as like before this update. The screen keeps freezing. so annoying.
I think downgrading back to 1.7.2 is the best option for now, at least until Bambu comes up with a new firmware that works better. It also allows compatibility with BMCU but not a lot of people have those.
A1 Mini, no AMS. Screen freezes, did a reset on the printer, replaced the touch screen, glitches on Load/Upload Filament changes. Worked great until recent updates. >:(
Also, screen freezes after initial Downloading image. Super frustrating!!
Hola. Mi impresora desde la actualización a la versión 01.08.01.00 me da error cada poco en la extrusión. Me estaba volviendo tarumba. He cambiado a la versión anterior y se acabaron los problemas de raiz. Todo perfecto con la anterior.
Mi impresora es la A1 mini y tiene AMS.
Co la versión 01.08.00.00 va perfecta.

I also had problems after a firmware update. In my case, it was the SD card. Everything worked perfectly again with a new card. You should rule out the card as the cause, especially if errors (like screen freezing) persist even after downgrading. Regards, Olaf.
My a1 mini is running fine as well
Not sure if it’s the new firmware, but loading filament from an AMS HT is failing, manual loading is ok.
No issues other than the screen freezing at times. I cannot connect the freeze to any actions. It just happens.
