In the case of an A1 printer (no AMS), if the selected material gives a PET-xx error message and cannot be sent to the cloud. In the case of PLA, sending is problem-free. Moreover, it can be sent after being corrected to PLA. In this case, the printing parameters are different!? Previously, there was no such problem. Since the print job cannot be sent, the print job must be manually copied to the SD card. This way, it can be printed!
Hello!
I have the same problem on my Mac.
Usually I choose the Material in Bambu Studio and just send the printjob over the net. The A1 takes the sent material profile and prints.
Now! I can not send the job, before I have choosen the right material on the printer. Which is sometimes not possible, because I use an another material, and there is no profile for in the printer.
When I want to load material to my A1, I am forced to choose a material profile on the printer. Otherwise I can not load any material.
This is a horror! I hope this is fixed soon!
Thank you for the tip with the sd card!
I have no AMS.
But when I load a new object to Bambu Studio,
It shows four materials, like I would have an AMS installed.
I just tried my A1 Mini and have the same issue.
Hi,
Perhaps because the materiel delare on the printer is PLA… Try to declare PETG on the printer.
The error is about the transfer of the print. In the case of PET-xx, it indicates an error during the transfer, and there is an error message that I agree with the material selection with AMS, which I do not have! The printer does not report the event in this case, the data does not reach the printer. By saving the file to be printed on an SD card, it can be printed without problems even if a different material is used! In this case, the transfer is the problem!! Everything is fine with the previous version!!
Best regards!
I am having a similar issue. Lets say i am doing a three color print. I specify Bambu PLA basic and related color. Paint the model as desired. Slice the model in bambu. Send it to printer, then the hinky happens. When you go to assign the colors to the to the slots in final screen, it always states Slot # 2 is PETG even though on the rest on the config is stated PLA. Will not allow me to send it, unless i remove filament, and install it into the open location on the AMS. But if i want a 4 color model, im screwed. What gives?
I am having the same problem. When I try to send to the printer it gives me an error similar to the first post in this thread. In my case if I try to use PETG I get the error and it will not load from the computer to the printer. I changed the material to PLA and it transfers just fine. Something in the new firmware changed and now I can’t print PETG. It is strange because before it printed PETG just fine.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to have to go to the SD card option when printing PETG.
Solution: I deleted and reinstalled the previous version. The problem is gone! It seems that the latest version has not been tested properly! Regards!
Isn’t that what we are there for ?
We report the issues, the problems, the malfunctions…
Funny how you pay top Dollars for something to be turned beta tester and get nothing in return…
Lesson learned: Don’t install the new program right away, wait for other people’s comments.
I have the same issue.
I cannot pirnt any longer. at the explamation mark ist says:
“Upper half: Original
Lower half: Filament in AMS”.
I do not have an AMD connetced.
And there is no Upper half and lower half ???
I am on version 2.0.2.57
I will try to install the previous version…
Reverted to v2.0.1.50.
Working again.
